Today, we continue his legacy by delivering essential goods and cultural staples like Lydia Rice to homes and businesses throughout the Caribbean and the U.S. As we grow, we need a social storyteller who can bring our mission to life online.
The Role:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and culturally fluent Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of our social media strategy across platforms. You’ll create content that resonates, builds community, and drives brand awareness—while honoring the legacy behind every grain we sell.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn
- Create and schedule engaging posts that reflect our brand voice, values, and products
- Collaborate with in-house and freelance creators for photo, video, and UGC content
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and grow online community
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach
- Support influencer campaigns, giveaways, product launches, and seasonal campaigns
- Stay current on platform trends and apply culturally relevant storytelling
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years managing social media for a brand or agency
- Strong skills in short-form video creation, caption writing, and aesthetic curation
- Proficiency with Canva, Later, or similar scheduling/design tools
- Experience building engagement with food, lifestyle, or cultural brands
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Bonus: Caribbean background or familiarity with Caribbean-American markets
