The Role:
We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify, pursue, and close new growth opportunities for both our B2B and retail channels. From securing new accounts and building partner relationships to identifying emerging markets and untapped verticals, you’ll be the key driver behind our next chapter of expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue across wholesale, retail, and distribution partnerships
  • Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments for Lydia Rice and additional product lines
  • Build strong relationships with retail buyers, food service providers, distributors, and government programs
  • Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and onboarding of new accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to align growth initiatives
  • Analyze industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior to inform strategic planning
  • Represent Grandfada Distribution at trade shows, expos, and industry events

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in business development, B2B sales, or strategic partnerships (CPG, food/beverage preferred)
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts, closing high-value deals, and scaling markets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivated with a drive to win
  • Comfortable navigating multicultural markets and relationship-based business models
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Caribbean markets, government contracts, or export partnerships
